“Echoroukonline” among the first 1.500 biggest sites in the world

Estimates released by the world site classifier “Alexa” revealed that “Echoroukonline” yesterday reached the 1.536th position worldwide allowing it to take the lead in Algeria and the whole Maghreb region in terms of readership and professional reliabilty.

• In the light of the latest progress recorded by the website over the last few months, Echoroukonline.com is outrunning prestigious Arab sites like the Egyptian “Al Ahram” and “Al Masri Al Youm” considered as the biggest Egyptian news outlets.
• Echoroukonline comes ahead the Saudi electronic paper “Assebk” despite the fact that Algeria is lagging behind Saudi Arabia and Egypt in terms of internet users, the source revealed.
• According to Alexa, 85% of the site’s visitors are based in Algeria followed by Saudi Arabia with 3.5% then Egypt 2% while French visitors come at the end with 0.7%. Echourokonline is closely competing with the outstanding Arab websites like “Al- Arabia.net” which comes at the 1397 position worldwide and Al Jazeera.net ranked 826 worldwide.
• Echoroukonline hit a record over the last two days as it ranked the 35th position on “Youtube” because of the rush on the video highlights of the match that opposed Algeria to Zambia. The number of viewers reached till yesterday a record 130 thousand.
